A Wonderful Day

      24th March 2022 was an unforgettable day. It was an important day for me, and for all the partners in the club. As I have mentioned last semester, the kpop club’s performance was at the end of March. And for the grand performance, all the members practiced very hard, and we were all looking forward to this activity. During the winter vacation, I wondered why I participated in this club since I don’t remember the reason. It seemed that I had already been dancing with a group of people when I wondered why I was there. All I can remember is that I’ve always been very fascinated with kpop when I was in senior high school, and I’ve always craved to do some dance cover that I am very fond of. However, the high school didn’t have that kind of club, and there were not many people sharing the same interests. I once wanted to join the kpop club when I was in my previous school in the first year of college life, but for some reason, I chose not to engage in the clubs. It was not until I came to this university that I finally joined the club that I have always dreamed of. Originally, I was hesitant about joining it or not. Perhaps I’ve been eager to realize my dream of standing on the stage, thus I finally make the decision. It seems the answer to my question has been solved. I came here to fulfill the dream.

       Besides standing on the stage, I also wanted to make friends who also pay attention to the kpop culture. There’s no doubt that there are many people who also like kpop very much, and it’s really awesome!!! Because now there are people who also pay attention to the same interest, I am not alone anymore. Sometimes when we are practicing, we will chat about recent comeback stages, news, or other kinds of stuff. With increasing time we practice, the more familiar we are with partners. I especially like the time when all the partners are working together to complete a dance cover, it’s like happiness for me to some degree. Needless to say, all the performance groups nailed the stage on that night. And I received lots of compliments for our performance, which made me delighted!! It’s a comfort to know that there are many people who like the show. I’m so glad that all the kpop club partners had completed a wonderful performance together, and I will cherish the precious moments.
